English Speaking Youth Employment Issues & Needs
Y4Y is conducting youth consultations across the province in partnership with the Provincial Employment Round Table (PERT) as part of their study on “English Speaking Youth Employment Issues & Needs”.
During these consultations, we will hear directly from youth aged 15-34 about their experiences and issues along their employment journeys. An online survey will also be distributed in November that will gather their perspectives and experiences as linguistic minority youth in Québec’s labour market.
The results of this project will be shared in an online media campaign by PERT in March 2025 that highlights the employment opportunities and challenges among English-speaking youth with the goal of providing relevant stakeholders, policymakers, and the public with an updated profile of English-speaking youth in the labour market, including their needs for employment and employability support.
If you have questions about this research, please email samantha.restall@y4yquebec.org.
If you are interested in filling out the survey, please check back for the link in November.
